Over 100 years ago, Carl T. Hammond, Sr. opened Hammond’s Candy Factory in Denver, Colorado with a commitment to quality. Carl began making candy in his kitchen with his wife and children, selling it door-to-door and at the local farmers market. As word of his delicious confections spread, Carl hired a few employees and rented a small factory space. Within a few years, Hammond’s had outgrown its original factory and moved to a larger facility. Today, Hammond’s Candies are enjoyed by fans all over the world. They are proud to continue their founder’s legacy of making delicious treats by hand from start to finish. Thanks to their devoted fans, Hammond’s Candies have become an iconic American brand.
Carl T. Hammond, Sr. was always an entrepreneurial spirit.
